Ken was the first publisher ever hired at Broker Agent Magazine and grew it from a $2MM company to a $14MM company as the VP of sales. It was a very challenging position working with publishers who were independent contractors and trying to motivate and manage them without the controls of the employer relationship. He did a great job. The company grew tremendously and the publishers, for the most part, were happy and successful. The day Ken left Broker Agent Magazine, all the publishers knew the company was in trouble and consequently, it ceased operations within one year. Ken was the backbone of that company. I learned a tremendous amount from him. He was a true leader with great ideas and a persuasive, charismatic manner. I would work for/with Ken again without question. He built a phenomenal team.
